Highlights of the tour include stops on Sept. 10 at the Broadbent Arena in Louisville; Sept. 17 at the Landmark Theater in Richmond; Sept. 18 at the Montgomery Convention Center at the Renaissance in Montgomery, Ala.; Oct. 15 at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Columbus; and Oct. 16 at the State Theatre in Cleveland, which was originally scheduled for July 30.

Cedric the Entertainer tickets are also available for a stand-up performance scheduled on Dec. 30 at the Silver Legacy Casino in Reno.

When he’s not busy doing stand-up, he can usually be found working on a film or television project. In 2009, he appeared in four shows: Un-broke: What You Need To Know About money, WWE Raw; Wild ‘n Out and Merry Madagascar.

He’s currently working on a comedy-drama film called Larry Crowne, which stars Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts. The movie is scheduled for release sometime in 2011.

Just For Laughs debuted in 1983 and has since grown to represent 23 days of laughter, 1.5 million festival goers, more than 1500 artists in 12 countries and more than 1200 outdoor and indoor performances. It is the world’s largest and most prestigious comedy festival, and is held annually in four cities: Montreal, Toronto, Chicago and Paris.

Other comic stars appearing at the festival date in Chicago include Adam Corolla, Ellen DeGeneres, Chris Hartwick, Denis Leary, Greg Giraldo, Sean Flannery, and many more.
